Roychamp Calypso - Sky - AKA.....Dolly

Sky is a stunning bitch, she is the daughter of bella and taz and is our first homebred puppy and we are delighted with our result.
Sky is not an overly large bitch but is very well put together. She has combined the stunning looks of her mother and fantastic confirmation of her father. She has been hip scored and has a good low score of 9.
Sky has a wonderful temperament and excellent dark markings also with the correct bite and mouth pigmentation. She has developed a lovely head like her mum and is a very powerful girl, she just oozes character!

Sky is definately a mummies girl, she follows me everywhere and you find her most evenings asleep at my feet. She is an absolute joy to own and is a great companion. She too like ALL our dogs is completely spoilt rotten and she knows just how to use those 'Oh please mum' eyes to get her own way. She loves our nephew jack, the two of them are very close.

Sky has so much to offer the future of our breeding plans and in june 2007 she gave birth to her very first litter of which we kept 3 puppies!
Sadly though sky had a very difficult time and we came very close to losing our precious girl, she needed life saving surgery from 2 vets and she was therefore spayed at the same time and will not be having any more puppies which is a real shame as she is absolutely gorgeous, however she means the world to us and there is no way we would risk another pregnancy with this special girl as we feel soooo lucky that we still have her here with us today! She has given us 3 very beutiful daughters who will go on to produce their own very beautiful babies we are sure. Sky is now very happily retired and just ever so slightly spoilt

  Firemoon Golden Edition of Roychamp - Taz - AKA.....Tazmo

Taz is a wonderful dog who is sound in both health and temperament.

He is a quality dog and was our very first addition to our family. He is sired by champion pendley jordan who won crufts in 2002, the year taz was born.
He is of excellent type with a wonderful head and great confirmation, he has a good low and even score of 4:3 = 7.
He has a really lovely temperament and is a great family companion and has produced puppies with excellent temperaments which is of the upmost importance to us.

He has excellent breeding as you can see from his pedigree, over five generations our boy has 29 champions along with generations of very good hip scores.
Taz has sired 5 healthy litters.

He is a real daddy's boy and will play ball all day. his other love is water, he is an absolute waterbaby and will take every opportunity he can to get soaked!

Taz is now 9+ years old and still a very fit and athletic dog and would happily run and play all day, he is a very solid male and he produces puppies with sound health and temperament, we were planning to have a son from Taz and Jasmine in early 2011, unfortunately due to health reasons this was not possible as we had to retire him from our breeding plans.

We do have here with us a Taz son, two daughters, and three grandaughters and hope to achieve a great grandaughter late 2011, he has been the foundation of our breeding along with our dearly missed Bella, and what a start they both gave us.

Taz is now castrated and retired from our breeding plans, he has given us enough to continue on his fantastic breed type, character and temperament and is enjoying lounging on the sofa all day as the first dog in our family Taz is a special boy and he knows it!

  Boldheart's Solid Gold of Roychamp - Amber - AKA - Bubbalubba

Amber was our first dogue de bordeaux and what a sweetheart she is! She is a very bubbly girl and so entertaining, she has us laughing for hours and just oozes character.
Amber is a real gentle girl and doesnt have a bad bone in her body, she currently weighs 55kg and has great muscle tone with superb movement.

She has grown into a beautiful bitch with a superb head with lots of wrinkle and fantastic expressions which keep us all amused, she is full of energy and is a complete fruit cake. Althought she is crazy she is a lovely natured girl with a very loving and affectionate manner. Her favourite toy is the hoover which she just loves.
Amber has a great pedigree combining some of the best bloodlines both in europe and the uk with both her grandads being true legends of the breed.
Amber is a beautiful girl she is very gentle, loving and loyal, this is of the upmost importance to us here at roychamps as great temperaments and health are what we strive to achieve.

Amber gave birth to her first litter in jan 08 and her babies were stunning, we kept the first born puppy here with us to continue our generations and she is beautiful, with a mixture of qualities from both her mum and dad who is our very own handsome Alfie.
Amber was a superb mum and has produced 2 superb litters with puppies of excellent quality. All her kids can be seen on our 'Dogues we have bred page'. Ruby is Ambers first born puppy and stayed here with us and can be seen on her own page, she is a stunner. Amber is now retired and spayed and will enjoy the rest of her days here with us and her sole mate Alfie

  Gravenhurst Sally of Roychamp - Sasha - AKA.....Tank

Sasha is a very soppy girl, we bought her when we were well and truely bitten by the rottie bug, she was part of our family as our pet first and foremost but also with the hope of having a lovely litter from her and our boy Taz.

Unfortunately sasha did not mature into a bitch of breeding quality and so she was spayed as we are striving to produce quality rotties that are excellent examples of their breed and though she has a superb temperament we felt it was best to not include her in our breeding plans as we feel it is very important to ensure the foundations of our bloodlines are excellent and as close to breed standard as possible.

Of course sasha remained here with us and will do permanantly like every dog we have ever brought into our family.

Sasha is a very large bitch with a lovely nature, at her heaviest she weighed in at 9.5 stone! I was sure there was an underlined reason for such weight gain and asked my vet to test her for hypothyroidism, sure enough the test was positive and since starting her lifelong medication she is a happier, healthier and slightly slimmer girl!

Her condition has however affected her coat colour and she is now our very own Red rott!!! Sahsa's condition is monitored every 3 months with blood test and though it is under control with her age she is slowly piling on the pounds again but at her age now we feel it is about keeping her happy so she is spoilt like all the rest.

Sasha is a very affectionate girl and just wants to be fussed all day, now 8+ years old she is still a big kid at heart.
